I’m committed to seeing people come to know Jesus and using my professional I.T. and management expertise in serving the vision of Agapé.
I can’t do this alone. I need people to join with me.
Like all Agapé staff – from interns to the National Director – I need to develop a team of ministry partners who will pray for me, support me financially and encourage me to stay faithful to my calling.
One of the great things about having a team of supporters who are invested in my ministry is that you get to be part of something amazing and can see the difference your prayers and financial support are making.
I know that God has called me to do this work and I am confident that he will provide a team of partners. Could you be one of them? Together we can do this!
HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED
Finance: could you give regularly, on a monthly basis? I need to find all the funds for my work so your financial contribution will enable me to cover the £2373 a month that I need to cover the costs of living, ministry, projects and conferences. Regular monthly giving by standing order is most helpful for me, but special single gifts are great too! You can give online at http://give.agape.org.uk/whitfield (Partners in the US can visit https://give.cru.org/2852030 ) Some people find it helpful to know a suggested amount to give. It really is up to you. I have partners who give from £2 a month, to £100 a month. Everything helps and is a blessing. To view how much finance I’m currently discovering against my budget click here.
Prayer: could you pray regularly for me, my work and the people involved? Prayer is essential in everything that we do and it’s wonderful to know that people are praying for me. I will send a regular newsletter to keep you up to date with things that happen and highlight things for prayer.
Encouragement: could you email, text, phone or visit? Ministry can be tough and discouraging at times and being reminded of God’s truth and His faithfulness is essential! I really value everyone who is partnering with me in this Kingdom work.
